Mabon Ritual for Racial Justice, Sept. 24

7-8 p.m. in the social hall

Our Social Justice Wheel of the Year continues into Mabon at the Fall Equinox. This is the time of the harvest when we have tables groaning with the fruits of our labor. Who is seated at the table with us? The truth is, all members of our community are not equally welcome to sit and eat this feast. Our celebration of the bounty of the earth will include a calling in of those who have been historically excluded from the table, and an opening of our own hearts in order to make them welcome. We will use the balance of equinox as our template, and ask that no one stand privileged over the other because of their perceived racial or cultural identity.
