Sunday, Dec. 17, 7-8 p.m. in the social hall
Our Social Justice Wheel of the Year continues with Yule as we gather to call justice and mercy out of the dark of winter solstice. Justice for our institutions, that they may examine their biases and correct their injustices on a systemic level. Mercy for individuals who have made mistakes, done harm, and need to come back into right relationship with the community. There are times when suffering seems to blanket the earth; the longest night is the time to light the candle of hope and invoke the righteousness we need.
Everyone is welcome. Altar set up begins at 6:45 if you or your kids would like to participate.
